The BMA is seeking experienced and skilled drivers to transport staff, documents, and goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and security protocols. As a driver, you will play a critical role in supporting the BMA’s mission to secure South Africa’s borders.
*Key Responsibilities:*
– Safely transport staff, documents, and goods to designated locations
– Adhere to safety protocols, government regulations, and internal procedures
– Provide excellent customer service, including assisting guests with disabilities
– Maintain a safe, hygienic, and secure environment
– Ensure vehicle maintenance and adhere to safety regulations
*Requirements:*
– Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent (NQF 4)
– Valid Code EC (unendorsed) driver’s license and Professional Driving Permit (PDP) for categories P & G
– At least 5 years of driving experience with buses and/or heavy motor vehicles
– Understanding of relevant regulations, including the Border Management Authority Act and Road Safety Regulations
– Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime
– Keen attention to detail and commitment to customer service
